Armen Askijian
Aerospace engineering leader and CTO specializing in satellite systems and advanced space technologies.

Armen Askijian is the Chief Technology Officer and Head of Engineering at Airbus U.S., overseeing engineering development, manufacturing, R&D, and national security space programs. Previously, he was a senior technical leader at OneWeb, Google, Lockheed Martin Space Systems, and Airbus OneWeb Satellites, where he played a key role in designing the OneWeb Generation 1 and Generation 2 satellite constellations.

With degrees from UC Berkeley and Santa Clara University, Armen has led multinational engineering teams and contributed to major U.S. and international space programs. He is active as a mentor and advisor, serving on UC Berkeley’s Aerospace Engineering Founding Board and supporting broader innovation in the aerospace community.
