Hovhannes Avoyan is a serial entrepreneur, investor, and technologist best known as the Founder and CEO of PicsArt, a leading global creative platform with over 400 million users. With more than 25 years of experience in software development and global business management, he has founded six startups—each acquired by major international companies such as Lycos, Bertelsmann, GFI, TeamViewer, and HelpSystems. At PicsArt, he oversees product, engineering, operations, and global expansion.

A former lecturer at the American University of Armenia and San Francisco State University, Avoyan is a Harvard Business School graduate and a Sun Microsystems–recognized Java Champion. He is a frequent speaker on business strategy, international teams, and AI-driven innovation, and remains an influential figure in Armenia’s tech ecosystem.
