Talar Kazanjian is the Executive Director of Afeyan Initiatives for Armenia (AIF/AIFA), where she leads strategic programs designed to strengthen Armenia’s institutional capacity, innovation ecosystem, and diaspora collaboration. Prior to this role, she served as the Executive Director of the Armenia 2050 Commission Office, supporting long-term national development strategies, cross-sector coordination, and strategic policy initiatives.

With extensive experience in international program leadership, institutional development, and multi-stakeholder partnership building, Talar previously held senior positions at the United Nations, the Government of Armenia, and multiple philanthropic and development-oriented organizations. She is also a member of the Guardians Council of The FUTURE ARMENIAN, contributing to one of the most influential civic initiatives uniting Armenians worldwide around shared long-term goals. Talar holds degrees in Political Science and Public Administration and is recognized for her leadership in advancing strategic reforms and systems-level impact for Armenia.
